Job Description:

Typical Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit quotations in accordance with client and British Standard requirements, ensuring accuracy and proper processing of customer orders.
  • Assist with technical bid writing, including methodologies, sequencing, and technical submission documents.
  • Prepare conceptual electronic design drawings and system schematic wiring details.
  • Liaise with the Sales Manager/Sales Engineer and Project/Design Teams to prepare and submit quotations to prospective clients.
  • Assist in preparing cost information, profit forecasts, and collate tenders properly.
  • Obtain competitive written quotations from suppliers or subcontractors for inclusion in tender bids.
  • Assess third-party quotations for compliance.
  • Represent the company at initial site meetings and complete site surveys as necessary.
  • Process client sales orders and liaise with project engineers on installation orders to ensure customer/job files are prepared.
  • Undertake administrative and phone duties as required.
  • Perform any other duties relevant to the position.
