Job Description:
Typical Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit quotations in accordance with client and British Standard requirements, ensuring accuracy and correct processing of customer orders.
- Assist with technical bid writing, including methodologies, sequencing, and submission documents.
- Prepare conceptual electronic design drawings and system schematic wiring details.
- Liaise with Sales Manager/Sales Engineer and Project/Design Teams to prepare and submit quotations.
- Assist in preparing cost information, profit forecasts, and collate tenders properly.
- Obtain competitive quotations from suppliers or sub-contractors for tender bids.
- Assess third-party quotations for compliance.
- Represent the company at site meetings and complete site surveys as necessary.
- Process client sales orders and coordinate with project engineers on installation orders.
- Perform administrative and phone duties as required.
- Undertake any other duties related to the position.
