Typical Responsibilities

  • To work with and under instruction from Security Administration Team Members, complying with work instructions, company policies and Health and Safety procedures.
  • To maintain a working knowledge of circuits and measuring devices and an understanding and respect of electrical circuits as well as undertaking training courses where necessary.
  • The commissioning of new Security and associated systems as well as additions to existing systems.
  • Routine servicing and reactive maintenance of our clients’ Security Alarm and associated systems.
  • Maintain an accurate and high standard of Customer, Company and Personal paperwork.
  • Undertake ‘On-Call’ duties as part of your Area Team.
  • Any other duties commensurate with the role.

Person Specification

  • A full Electrical based qualification such as City & Guilds, ONC, HNC etc. (Essential)
  • Experience of working within the Electronic Security Engineering sector (Essential)
  • A working knowledge of electrical circuits & measuring devices (Essential)
  • Experience of servicing and commissioning electronic security systems and associated systems (Essential)
  • Familiarity with safe working practices and Health & Safety requirements (Essential)
  • Excellent customer service skills (Essential)
  • Competent using technology such as laptops, measuring devices, smart phones etc (Essential)
  • Ability to maintain accurate records whilst regularly submitting customer and company paperwork in a timely manner (Essential)
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team (Essential)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (Essential)
  • The ability to communicate effectively with staff at varying levels throughout the company (Essential)
  • A thorough understanding of relevant British Standards, in particular National Security Inspectorate requirements (Essential)
  • A genuine interest in your work with an enthusiasm and willingness to learn (Essential)
  • A full and valid driving licence (Essential)
