Working within our Production Facility, the SMT (Surface Mount Technology) Team Member is responsible for operating machines used for the assembly of printed circuit boards (PCBs) using surface mount technology, solder paste screen printing, and optical inspection machines. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment to ensure the production of high-quality electronic assemblies.
Typical Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and monitor process machines (pick and place, screen printer, AOI, etc.) for PCB assembly.
- Load and unload PCBs and components onto machines according to production requirements.
- Ensure accurate placement of components.
- Inspect assembled PCBs for quality, ensuring proper component placement and soldering.
- Perform visual inspections to verify that assemblies meet the required specifications.
- Document inspection results and report any quality issues to the supervisor.
