We are seeking a motivated and professional engineer to carry out planned servicing, reactive maintenance, and commissioning activities across our clients' fire detection, emergency lighting, and associated life safety systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for completing all relevant service and commissioning documentation accurately and efficiently, whilst maintaining a thorough and up-to-date knowledge of applicable British Standards and industry best practices

  • TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • To maintain a working knowledge of simple circuits and measuring devices and an understanding and respect of electrical circuits as well as undertaking training courses where necessary.
  • Regular routine servicing and reactive maintenance of our clients’ Fire Alarm and associated systems.
  • With relevant training, commission our clients’ Fire Alarm and associated systems.
  • Maintain an accurate and high standard of Customer, Company and Personal paperwork.
  • To work with and under instruction from Customer Services Team Members, complying with work instructions, company policies and Health and Safety procedures.
  • Support business growth through exceptional delivery and industry expertise
  • Build strong relationships with clients, engineers and contractors.
  • To act as a Company Ambassador. You must be smart in appearance, pleasant in attitude and capable of communicating diplomatically to strengthen customer relationships
  • Undertake ‘On-Call’ duties as part of your Area Team.
  • Any other duties commensurate with the role.

ABOUT YOU

We're looking for a confident and proactive individual who thrives on responsibility and enjoys working in a fast paced environment

  • You will possess :-
  • Proven experience in working with fire alarms and associated systems
  • Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, measuring devices
  • Excellent familiarity with safe working practices and health and safety requirements
  • Strong communication and client facing skills
  • Proactive and solution focused approach
  • Knowledge of relevant British Standards in particular clauses relating to servicing, maintenance and commissioning.
  • Full an valid UK driving licence
