We are looking for a Data and Reporting Specialist to join our experienced Professional Services team based in Coventry to work on migrating new customer data and creating bespoke reporting and information solutions to ensure a smooth transition to the next generation of our market-leading Field Service Management software. You will be working closely with colleagues in the Professional Services team to ensure customer data and reporting requirements are met. You will be responsible for ensuring that all data and reporting work meets agreed specifications and is delivered to the highest quality within project deadlines and budget.
As a Data and Reporting Specialist you will need to have a high level of skill as well as an ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with both colleagues and customers. We are seeking someone with a keen eye for detail who is passionate about quality. You will be involved in all aspects of customer data and reporting, including but not limited to:
- scoping customer data migration and reporting requirements
- data migration from customers' legacy systems and other multiple sources
- writing reports to customer specifications
- estimating customer requirements and writing statement of works
- data investigation
- assisting other members of the Professional Services and Support teams with queries
Our successful candidate will be a self-starter with a sharp eye for detail who prides themselves on accuracy. We need someone who can juggle multiple ongoing projects simultaneously and deal with an ever-changing list of priorities. Problem solving skills and the ability to find innovative solutions are a must.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of relational database design
- Experience of data migration from legacy systems
- Transact SQL
- Use of SQL Management studio to write views and stored procedures
- MI Report writing and query design
- Experience of requirements analysis and scoping
- Familiar with creation and operation of business Dashboards ideally using Power BI
- Ability to write comprehensive customer facing business documents
- MS Access to an advanced standard
- Analysis and problem solving
- Ability to manage and prioritise workloads to meet project deadlines and budgets
- Strong communication skills and ability to converse with both colleagues and customer representatives
