Production Shift Manager
Location: Central Belt of Scotland
Salary: Β£45,000 DOE
Hours: Monday to Friday, 2pmβ10.30pm
I'm genuinely excited to be representing my client in their search for a Production Manager.
This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys being involved on the factory floor, bringing a team together and seeing the difference their work makes. You'll lead production on the backshift, keeping standards high, supporting your team and finding practical ways to improve performance.
Key responsibilities
Lead daily production, setting clear expectations and delivering production and service targets.
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, health and safety, product quality and traceability.
Ensure products meet customer specifications, with accurate labelling and consistent process compliance.
Monitor performance and improve yield, labour efficiency, waste and product giveaway.
Organise staffing, team rotation, holidays and absence cover.
Develop your team through training and performance management, ensuring systems are used correctly and issues are escalated promptly.
What I'm looking for
A strong team leader who can motivate people, set clear expectations and manage performance.
Level 3 Food Hygiene or equivalent, plus HACCP certification.
Good numeracy and attention to detail.
Clear spoken and written English to support safety, quality and team communication.
Someone adaptable who takes ownership, learns quickly and supports others' development.
