You’llsupportproductionandpackingoperations,keepingequipmentrunningreliablyandhelpingtheteammovetowardsmoreproactivemaintenance.
Yourresponsibilitieswillinclude:
- Diagnosingandrepairingmechanicalandelectricalfaults.
- Carryingoutplannedpreventativemaintenanceandrespondingtobreakdowns.
- Investigatingrecurringissuesandimplementinglastingsolutions.
- Supportingequipmentinstallation,commissioningandimprovementprojects.
- Keepingaccuratemaintenancerecordsandprovidingclearshifthandovers.
- Maintaininghighstandardsofhealthandsafety,foodsafetyandenvironmentalpractice.
- Supporting the site’s environmental standards and ISO 14001 commitments, including identifying opportunities to reduce waste and energy use.

Aboutyou
You’llbring:
- Atime-servedelectricalormechanicalengineeringapprenticeshipandarelevantqualification.
- Previousexperienceinfoodmanufacturing.
- Strongmechanicalandelectricalfault-findingskills.
- Knowledgeofpneumaticandhydraulicsystems.
- Experienceusingcomputerisedmaintenancemanagementsystems.
- Apracticalapproachtoproblem-solvingandtheabilitytoworkwellwithinateam.
