Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience
Responsibilities:
* Ensure adherence to the Food Safety HACCP plan at all times.
* Conduct product, process, packaging, and hygiene checks.
* Review and verify labelling compliance.
* Complete and maintain quality documentation.
* Address and resolve non-conformances effectively.
* Maintain quality standards, including procedures and documentation control.
* Report all irregularities promptly.
* Review and file production check sheets.
* Assist with customer and regulatory visits as well as BRC/customer audits.
* Control and manage non-conforming materials.
* Perform metal detection checks.
* Report to the Quality Manager on quality-related matters.
* Support the upkeep and maintenance of internal and external standards.
* Ensure the site maintains the highest level of hygiene.
* Assist with site visits and inspections.
Skills and Competencies:
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Strong teamwork abilities and collaboration skills.
* Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.
* Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and self-motivation.
* Proficiency in IT, particularly Microsoft Excel (SAP knowledge is an advantage).
* Flexibility to adapt to business needs.
* Well organised with the ability to perform under pressure.
Minimum Requirements / Experience:
* Diploma/Degree in a relevant discipline.
* Candidates MUST be in Ireland and have the Right to work.
* Previous experience in quality is essential.
* Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.
