Job Title: Head of Human Resources Location: Dungannon, Northern Ireland Salary: Negotiable Sector: FMCG Overview: An established manufacturing business in the Dungannon area is seeking a proactive and experienced HR professional to lead site HR operations and support its diverse workforce. This role will play a key part in shaping the site\’s culture, supporting managers, and driving effective people strategies that align with business goals. The business operates in a fast-paced production environment with a blend of permanent, temporary, and seasonal staff. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and manage the HR function across the site, acting as the go-to person for all HR matters. * Guide managers on employee relations, performance, and engagement. * Support workforce planning and recruitment, particularly for seasonal and temporary labour. * Build and sustain a positive, inclusive culture that supports staff wellbeing and retention. * Oversee employee relations processes, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, and investigations. * Ensure HR practices comply with legal and company requirements. * Produce HR reports, metrics, and insights to inform leadership decision-making. * Drive continuous improvement in HR systems and processes. Candidate Profile: * Proven experience in an HR Manager or Senior HR role within manufacturing or a similar operational environment. * Confident working with a multicultural workforce, including foreign nationals. * Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. * Proactive, hands-on, and able to operate independently. * CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) preferred
