We're looking for aNight Shift Engineerto join our engineering team at a busy food manufacturing site in Central Scotland.

Working on a permanent 4 on, 4 off night shift pattern, you'll play a key role in maintaining production efficiency through planned preventative maintenance, fault finding and rapid response to equipment breakdowns. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment where reliability, safety and continuous improvement are critical.

What you'll be doing:

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities.
  • Responding to equipment breakdowns and minimising downtime.
  • Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults.
  • Supporting production teams to maximise equipment performance.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety and food safety standards.

What we're looking for:

  • Time-served engineer or recognised engineering qualification.
  • Experience within manufacturing, FMCG , food production or armed forces
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Multi-skilled engineering experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently on a permanent night shift pattern.
