Our client has to be one of the biggest names in the industry is looking for a proactive, detail‑driven Quality Leader to join their Technical team. If you enjoy taking ownership, improving standards and working with others to keep products safe, compliant and consistently high quality, this role will suit you. You’ll support the site Quality Management System, lead quality projects and help drive continuous improvement across the operation.
What You’ll Do
- Investigate complaints, quality issues and quarantines, identify root causes and support corrective actions
- Maintain the site Quality Management System and manage document control
- Oversee and improve quality checks, kiosks and SOP compliance
- Lead allocated quality projects aligned to site objectives
- Review quality data and highlight trends or improvement opportunities
- Carry out GMP, traceability and shop‑floor audits
- Support customer complaint responses and technical information requests
- Maintain retailer quality attribute sheets
- Collate technical data for internal and external reporting
- Complete scheduled TACCP horizon scanning
- Provide cover for the Quality Manager and Technical Services Manager when required
About You
You take pride in doing things properly, enjoy working with systems and standards, and can turn requirements into practical processes. You’re organised, curious and comfortable working with others to solve problems. Ideally, you’ll bring:
- Experience in a quality or technical role (food, drink or FMCG preferred)
- Understanding of food safety, quality systems and compliance
- Ability to interpret standards and customer codes of practice
- Strong attention to detail and confidence with documentation and audits
- A collaborative, practical approach to problem‑solving
- Experience with retailer specs, artwork systems or labelling (useful but not essential)
