Logistics Manager in Dungannon

We are recruiting a Logistics Manager to lead the day-to-day logistics, despatch and chilled storage operations for a fast-paced food manufacturing business supplying major retail and foodservice customers.

This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role. You will take full ownership of stock movement, transport execution, service levels, and warehouse performance, ensuring the right product is delivered to the right customer, in full and on time, every day.

Working at the heart of the operation, you will lead frontline teams, manage transport partners, and ensure food safety, traceability, and service excellence are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of despatch, warehousing, and transport activities
• Be highly visible on the warehouse and despatch floor, supporting Supervisors and teams to deliver daily plans
• Manage transport planning and execution, liaising directly with hauliers and resolving delivery issues in real time
• Ensure all orders are picked, checked, and dispatched accurately using the site ERP system
• Drive customer service performance including OTIF, delivery accuracy, and service levels
• Oversee chilled storage operations, stock rotation, traceability, and stock accuracy
• Ensure full compliance with Food Safety, Quality, and customer standards
• Lead investigations into service failures, quality issues, and customer complaints
• Maintain clean, organised, and audit-ready despatch and storage areas
• Drive a strong Health & Safety culture and safe systems of work
• Contribute to daily and weekly KPI reviews and site performance meetings
• Act as the main point of contact for logistics operations and escalation of risks

Essential Experience & Skills

• Proven experience in a Logistics, Warehouse, Despatch or Transport Management role within FMCG, food manufacturing, fresh produce, meat, poultry, seafood, or chilled foods
• Strong people management experience in a fast-moving operational environment
• Experience managing transport, retailer booking slots, and customer delivery requirements
• Confident managing KPIs such as OTIF, picking accuracy, and service levels
• Good working knowledge of Health & Safety and food-grade warehouse standards
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
