An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Key Account Executive to join a growing commercial team within a fast-paced food manufacturing business. This role is ideal for someone early in their commercial career who has experience working within the food industry and is keen to develop their skills in account management, customer relationships, and commercial operations.

Working closely with the Account Manager and Commercial Manager, you will support key customer accounts, assist with day-to-day commercial activity, and gain exposure to retail and food manufacturing customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the management of key customer accounts within the food manufacturing sector
  • Assist with sales reporting, forecasting, and performance tracking
  • Support promotional planning and commercial activity
  • Act as a point of contact for customer queries and requests
  • Assist with customer questionnaires, audits, store visits, and service level reporting
  • Liaise with internal departments including NPD, Technical, Production, and Supply Chain
  • Support product development projects, launches, and customer samples
  • Assist with preparation of customer presentations, proposals, and reports
  • Monitor market and competitor activity
  • Support continuous improvement and commercial projects
  • Help ensure customer requirements and service levels are consistently met
  • Carry out additional reasonable duties as required
What We’re Looking For
  • Degree in a relevant discipline or 1–3 years’ relevant experience
  • Experience within the food manufacturing industry (essential)
  • Exposure to commercial, customer-facing, or account support roles
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Commercially aware with good attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
  • Comfortable working with data, reports, and deadlines
  • Able to work well both independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and develop within a commercial environment
  • Flexible approach to working hours when required
