About the Role
We’re looking for two experienced Electrical Engineers to join a busy, modern food manufacturing facility. You’ll work on day shift, maintaining and improving production machinery and site services, ensuring smooth operations and minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across machinery and site services
- Diagnose and repair faults on LV/HV systems, control panels, and automated equipment
- Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise disruption to production
- Perform PAT testing, routine inspections, and electrical safety checks in line with legislation and company policy
- Follow lock-out/tag-out procedures and maintain high safety standards
- Support continuous improvement and equipment upgrades
- Complete maintenance records, logs, and handovers accurately
- Work closely with production, engineering, and management teams to keep operations running efficiently
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
Essential:
- Recognised electrical qualification (or time-served apprenticeship)
- Hands-on experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills on machinery and control systems
- Safety-focused, with strong attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable:
- Experience in FMCG or food production
- Knowledge of automated production systems
