The Role

We are looking for an organised and practical Farm Liaison Manager to act as the main point of contact for a network of agricultural producers. You will visit farms regularly, ensure compliance with welfare and assurance standards, and coordinate the practical aspects of supply — including audits, packaging, sampling, and data reporting. This position combines field work with office-based coordination and requires someone who enjoys building relationships and solving day-to-day operational challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visit contracted farms to provide support and guidance
  • Coordinate producer audits, sampling, and compliance checks
  • Maintain accurate farm data, certification records, and production forecasts
  • Manage packaging and materials requirements for each site
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve any on-farm or logistical issues
  • Monitor performance, identify risks, and drive continuous improvement
  • Support the onboarding of new producers and ensure all standards are met before supply begins

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in farm liaison, agricultural coordination, or assurance roles
  • Knowledge of farm assurance schemes (e.g. Red Tractor, RSPCA Assured, Lion Code or similar)
  • Good understanding of welfare, biosecurity, and food safety principles
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Confident with data and record keeping (Excel or database systems)
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly

Package: £50,000 – £60,000 depending on experience, 40-hour week, hybrid between office and field, regular travel across the UK
