Engineering Team Lead
We’re recruiting for an experienced Engineering Team Lead to join a busy food manufacturing site in County Down.
This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for a strong electrical engineer who enjoys leading from the front, supporting a small engineering team and keeping production running efficiently.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Leading and supporting a team of engineers and technicians
- Coordinating day-to-day maintenance priorities
- Reducing downtime and improving equipment reliability
- Supporting OEE, MTTR and maintenance KPIs
- Planning preventative and predictive maintenance
- Leading fault finding and root cause analysis
- Supporting PLCs, motors, drives and automated production equipment
- Managing critical spare parts and engineering supplies
- Working closely with Production, Quality and Operations
- Supporting energy reduction and sustainability initiatives
We’re looking for someone with:
- Strong electrical engineering experience
- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Experience leading or mentoring engineers
- Preventative and reactive maintenance experience
- Knowledge of PLC-controlled machinery, motors and drives
- Strong health & safety awareness
