ProTalent are currently working with a well established and fast growing accountancy firm with offices across Sussex. we are looking to hire a client bookkeeper for one of their offices in East Sussex.
The firm:
- Successful, multi sited accountancy practice with a network of offices in Sussex
- Dynamic and forward thinking
- Offer a full range of business advisory and accountancy services
- Interesting and dynamic client base
The role:
- Bookkeeping duties for a range of clients
- Bookkeeping to Trial Balance including bank reconciliations, prepayments and accruals adjustments
- VAT and CIS Returns
- Liaising with clients to ensure all records can be completed and VAT Returns filed within deadlines
- Assisting clients with bookkeeping and software queries
The successful applicant:
- Previous accountancy practice experience
- AAT qualified or studying
- Well-rounded bookkeeping knowledge and experience
- Good knowledge of VAT
- Familiar with cloud bookkeeping software such as Xero, Sage 50 or Quickbooks
