Looking for part-time hours that actually flex around your life? A well-regarded Chichester firm of Chartered Accountants is looking for a part-time Bookkeeping Assistant to join their team. It's 22.5 hours a week, and you can spread those across 3, 4 or 5 days, so it works well if you want good practice experience without a full-time commitment. This one suits someone who likes working with data, has a sharp eye for detail, and wants to build their experience inside a practice.
What you'll be doing:
- Processing client documentation accurately, mainly on Sage
- Matching, batching and coding
- Applying the correct VAT treatment
- Processing client expenses
- Inputting and reconciling bank transactions
- Supporting the wider team to hit client deadlines
What we're looking for:
- Strong attention to detail
- Good organisation and the ability to manage your own workload
- A basic grasp of bookkeeping, or the willingness to learn
- Experience with Xero, Sage, Dext or QuickBooks is a bonus, not a must
Why join:
- Flexible part-time hours
- A friendly, supportive team
- Exposure to a wide range of clients
- Modern, cloud-based systems
A good option if you want to keep your hand in, or get a proper foot in the door of practice. Happy to talk it through.
