The role
This is a varied and client‑focused position, managing a diverse portfolio of SMEs. You\’ll be responsible for accounts, tax, and advisory work, while also playing a key role in supporting the team and driving service standards across the firm.
Key responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of clients, delivering high‑quality accounting and advisory services
- Preparing and reviewing year‑end accounts under FRS102, FRS102A, and FRS105
- Producing corporation tax computations and CT600s
- Reviewing VAT returns
- Leading, mentoring, and supporting a team of accountants and admin staff
- Identifying growth opportunities and supporting business development
- Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and internal quality standards
- Acting as the main point of contact for key clients
About you
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience)
- Technically strong in UK GAAP, with experience across a range of SMEs
- Able to manage full accounts production through to sign‑off
- An excellent communicator and client relationship builder
- Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines
- Keen to support and develop junior members of the team
- Looking to grow your career with a modern, forward‑thinking firm
