We're looking for an Audit Senior to join the expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced audit professionals, support a diverse portfolio of clients and build a reputation for quality, insight-driven assurance work.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead planning, fieldwork and completion of audit assignments for a broad range of clients, from owner-managed businesses to larger SMEs.
- Manage the audit process end-to-end, ensuring work is delivered on time, to a high technical standard, and aligned with clients' commercial needs.
- Build strong client relationships by understanding their business risks and offering clear, practical recommendations.
- Provide coaching and technical support to junior team members, helping the team grow and learn.
- Collaborate across service lines (accounts, tax, advisory) to bring joined-up insight to client engagements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of audit methodology and internal quality control.
You'll play a visible role in shaping a modern audit offering that adds real value, not just ticks boxes.
Who You Are
- We're looking for someone who's already proven themselves in audit and is ready to step up with confidence: ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified (or near-qualified with strong experience).
- Strong experience in UK statutory audit within a practice environment.
- Sound understanding of UK GAAP and relevant reporting frameworks.
- Excellent client-facing skills, able to communicate complex issues clearly and constructively.
- Organised, reliable, and able to balance multiple engagements with precision.
- A team player who enjoys mentoring less experienced colleagues.
