Permanent Bookkeeper Required for Accountancy Practice near Eastbourne.
We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join a really fab accountancy Practice. We are looking for someone with solid bookkeeping skills who has experience using multiple software packages such as Xero and is familiar with regulations surrounding VAT and the processes involved in filing VAT Returns on behalf of clients.
The ideal candidate will be professional and efficient in their work, be reliably organised, and be able to keep accurate records and process financial information accurately. We require someone with a basic understanding of accounting principles and a keen eye for detail.
You should have solid experience in bookkeeping and VAT returns for multiple clients and be happy working on software such as Xero and Quickbooks - although full training on these packages will be provided.
The team are very settled and all enjoy working in the business. They have a lovely atmosphere which is both professional and fun.
Hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm and should rare overtime be clocked up - they do overpaid overtime or time off in lieu. There is progression available and you can certainly carve out a happy long-term career in this firm. Study packages for the AAT and ACCA are available.
