The Role
As Audit Senior, you\βll take ownership of audit assignments from planning through to completion, working closely with clients and supervising junior team members. You\βll be a key point of contact for clients, ensuring high-quality service delivery and compliance across every stage of the audit process.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading audits from planning to completion for a diverse portfolio of clients
- Supervising and mentoring junior audit staff on-site and in the office
- Preparing statutory accounts in accordance with UK GAAP and FRS 102
- Identifying and resolving audit issues, and communicating findings clearly
- Building strong client relationships, offering support and advice as needed
- Working closely with managers and partners to ensure timely delivery
- Staying up to date with regulatory and technical changes in audit and accountancy
About You
- ACA or ACCA qualified (or finalist with strong experience)
- Proven audit experience within an accountancy practice
- Confident leading audits and managing client relationships
- Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A proactive, team-focused approach with a commitment to high standards
