The Role

As Audit Senior, you\’ll take ownership of audit assignments from planning through to completion, working closely with clients and supervising junior team members. You\’ll be a key point of contact for clients, ensuring high-quality service delivery and compliance across every stage of the audit process.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading audits from planning to completion for a diverse portfolio of clients
  • Supervising and mentoring junior audit staff on-site and in the office
  • Preparing statutory accounts in accordance with UK GAAP and FRS 102
  • Identifying and resolving audit issues, and communicating findings clearly
  • Building strong client relationships, offering support and advice as needed
  • Working closely with managers and partners to ensure timely delivery
  • Staying up to date with regulatory and technical changes in audit and accountancy

About You

  • ACA or ACCA qualified (or finalist with strong experience)
  • Proven audit experience within an accountancy practice
  • Confident leading audits and managing client relationships
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A proactive, team-focused approach with a commitment to high standards
