Are you an ambitious Audit & Accounts professional looking for your next challenge in a dynamic, supportive, and forward-thinking accountancy firm?
We’re delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a leading independent practice based in Surrey, known for its excellent client service, progressive culture, and commitment to staff development. Due to continued growth, they are looking to expand their team with the addition of an Audit & Accounts Senior or Semi-Senior.
About the Role:
You’ll join a collaborative team and take on a mixed portfolio of audit and accounts assignments across a range of industries, including owner-managed businesses, SMEs, and larger corporate clients. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone seeking variety, client interaction, and genuine career progression.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading and assisting on audits from planning through to completion
Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
Preparing corporation tax computations
Liaising directly with clients, offering clear communication and building long-term relationships
Supporting and mentoring junior members of staff where appropriate
About You:
This role would suit a proactive, detail-oriented individual who enjoys client-facing work and thrives in a supportive but professional environment.
You will likely be:
ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified (QBE also considered)
Experienced in audit and accounts within a UK practice environment
Comfortable with audit fieldwork, accounts prep, and tax compliance
A confident communicator who enjoys client interaction
Driven to progress and develop professionally
