A forward-thinking boutique practice in Greater Manchester is growing and looking for an Accounts Semi-Senior or Senior to join them. This is hands-on practice work with a modern firm that's left the timesheet-heavy grind behind. You'll get real exposure across accounts, tax and bookkeeping, with the support to build your technical skills and push on with your studies.
What you'll be doing:
- Preparing year-end accounts for a range of limited company clients
- Bookkeeping and VAT returns
- Preparing corporation tax and personal tax returns
- Helping pull together management accounts
- Working alongside the senior team and getting involved in client queries
About you:
- Some practice experience behind you, ideally across accounts prep and tax
- Studying towards AAT, ACCA or ACA, or qualified by experience
- Comfortable with cloud software such as Xero or QuickBooks
- Keen to learn, ask questions and take on more over time
