Accounts Senior Location: Bolton
Salary: £32,000 £40,000 (depending on experience)

A well-respected, small accountancy firm in Bolton is looking for an experienced Accounts Senior to join their close-knit team. This is a hands-on, client-focused role where your input will make a real difference ideal for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy, and building genuine relationships with clients.

You won t get lost in a large team here you ll be a key part of the business from day one.
The Role
This is a varied role with plenty of responsibility. You ll take ownership of your own portfolio and have a direct line to the partners. Responsibilities include:
- Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
- Producing tax returns (personal and corporate)
- Managing VAT returns and bookkeeping work
- Helping clients with day-to-day queries and offering practical advice
- Assisting with workflow and supporting junior staff as needed
What They re Looking For
- Solid experience in general practice (minimum 3 5 years)
- AAT qualified, ACCA/ACA part-qualified or qualified by experience
- Confident preparing accounts and tax returns with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills both written and face-to-face
- Someone who enjoys taking responsibility and being part of a small, collaborative team
