We\’re working with a friendly and well-established firm in Wallington who are seeking a Semi Senior Accountant to join their team due to an upcoming staff relocation. This is a great opportunity to take on varied responsibilities in a down-to-earth, client-focused environment.
The Role:
You\’ll be involved in preparing accounts and tax returns for a broad portfolio of clients including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. You\’ll work closely with senior team members and benefit from hands-on support as you continue developing your technical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of year-end accounts for SMEs and owner-managed businesses
- Personal and corporation tax returns
- Bookkeeping and VAT returns
- Liaising directly with clients and supporting with day-to-day queries
- Supporting managers and seniors on wider practice work
What We re Looking For:
- AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA part-qualified
- Minimum 2 years\\\’ experience within an accountancy practice
- Confident preparing accounts and tax returns with minimal supervision
- Experience with Xero, QuickBooks, or similar cloud-based tools
- A positive attitude and eagerness to continue progressing
