You ll report directly to the Senior Manager and take ownership of accounts production across a varied portfolio of sole traders and partnerships, while being a key point of contact for clients. It s a role that suits someone who s technically strong, professionally minded, and ready to be part of something that s going places.
What You ll Be Doing
Preparing accounts for sole traders and partnerships
Liaising directly with clients to resolve queries and deliver a responsive, professional service
Managing your workload across multiple clients and consistently meeting deadlines
Supporting with bookkeeping and payroll where required
Upholding the high standards expected within a growing, reputable group practice
What We re Looking For
Minimum 3 years practical experience within an accountancy practice
At least AAT qualified (or equivalent experience)
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accountancy software, IRIS experience is a real advantage
Strong attention to detail with the ability to juggle priorities effectively
Confident communicator and comfortable dealing with clients directly, in writing and face-to-face
Professional and discreet when handling sensitive client information
Minimum 5 GCSEs at grade A-C (or equivalent), including Maths and English
Payroll experience is a bonus, but not essential
