An established and forward-thinking accountancy practice in Manchester is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a practice-trained accountant looking to work in a modern environment with a strong focus on client relationships and advisory work, alongside a 4 day working week.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparation of year-end accounts for limited companies
- Corporation tax returns
- VAT returns and bookkeeping
- Management accounts and reporting
- Reviewing work prepared by offshore team members
- Supporting clients with queries and business advice
Requirements:
- ACA / ACCA / AAT qualified or part-qualified
- Previous experience within an accountancy practice
- Strong knowledge of accounts, tax and VAT
- Confident managing client relationships
