We are working with a well-established and highly regarded accountancy practice in Brighton who are looking to appoint an Experienced Payroller to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional who enjoys managing a varied client portfolio and taking ownership of the payroll process within a supportive and collaborative environment.
The Role
- Managing end-to-end payroll for a range of clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and excellent service delivery.
- Processing weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls.
- Managing a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors.
- Submitting RTI reports and ensuring HMRC compliance.
- Administering statutory payments including SSP, SMP, and SPP.
- Handling payroll queries from clients and providing clear, professional advice.
- Maintaining accurate payroll records and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Keeping up to date with payroll legislation and best practice.
About You
- Proven experience in a payroll role, ideally within an accountancy practice or bureau environment.
- Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and processes.
- Experience managing multiple payrolls and working to tight deadlines.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build client relationships.
- Confident using payroll software.
