A long-standing and extremely reputable local accountancy practice are looking for a Senior Accounts Manager to take real ownership of a varied client portfolio, and to help shape the team around them. What you will be doing:
- Managing a broad accounts-focused portfolio, with some tax compliance work mixed in
- Holding client meetings directly, building relationships that go beyond the numbers
- Mentoring and managing a team, helping them grow their own technical skills
- Planning and overseeing work in progress across your portfolio
- Getting involved in business development, spotting opportunities within existing client relationships
What you will need:
- Solid experience managing a mixed accounts and tax portfolio within practice
- Confidence leading client meetings and building trust quickly
- Proven people management skills, whether that is one junior or a small team
- A relevant accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
