This forward-thinking accountancy practice is seeking a talented individual to join their dynamic General Practice team, working with a diverse portfolio of SMEs across multiple industries.
The Role
In this varied position, you’ll take ownership of accounts preparation from start to finish under FRS102, FRS102A and FRS105 , completecorporation tax returns (CT600s) , and support the development of junior colleagues through mentoring and review. You’ll also gain exposure to bookkeeping, VAT, and management reporting work, while working closely with a dedicated Manager/Senior Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of year-end accounts for a variety of SME clients
- Completion of corporation tax computations and CT600s
- Review and support work produced by junior team members
- Bookkeeping, VAT returns, and management reporting
- Direct client communication, ensuring excellent service at all times
- Use of Iris, Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage
About You:
- ACA/ACCA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience
- Strong knowledge of UK reporting standards (FRS102, 102A, 105)
- Confident in managing accounts preparation end-to-end
- Excellent communicator with a proactive, client-focused approach
