You’ll be joining a growing firm that works with a broad range of owner-managed businesses, where personal service and practical advice are the focus. The role:
- Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Completing and reviewing VAT returns
- Assisting with management accounts and client reporting
- Supporting a varied portfolio of clients with day-to-day queries and advice
- Liaising directly with clients to build trusted relationships
- Using software including Xero, QuickBooks and IRIS
What we’re looking for:
- Solid experience in a UK accountancy practice
- AAT qualified or ACA or ACCA part or fully qualified
- Confident preparing accounts and VAT returns independently
- Personable, client-facing and happy communicating directly with business owners
- Organised and proactive with a flexible, team-focused approach
