We're looking for an ambitious fundraiser to join our Philanthropy team, capitalising on recent growth and with the chance to really make your mark. Your role is to engage influential and high-profile individuals and Trusts in the UK, connecting them to the difference they can make to thousands of men facing prostate cancer. You'll lead on our established high value giving club, 'The Pioneers', and be creative with developing and growing membership and income for this product. Providing the highest level of stewardship, you'll ensure existing and new supporters feel valued, inspiring them to make five and six figure gifts, which will significantly improve the lives of men facing prostate cancer and their families. You'll also harness the support of our enthusiastic and influential Trustees, Senior Volunteers and Leadership Team, involving them when appropriate. Key Responsibilities

  • Engage influential and high-profile individuals and Trusts in the UK to raise high-value donations.
  • Lead and develop our high value giving club, 'The Pioneers', expanding membership and income.
  • Provide the highest level of stewardship to existing and new supporters, inspiring five-figure and six-figure gifts.
  • Collaborate with Trustees, Senior Volunteers and the Leadership Team to maximise support.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Excellent knowledge and experience of working in a philanthropy fundraising environment.
  • Knowledge of working with giving clubs or membership schemes.
  • Proven track record of securing five-figure (minimum) gifts.
  • Excellent knowledge of philanthropy solicitation stages and engagement techniques.
  • Ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

This role is in salary Band 3, with a starting salary of £36,250 - £42,500 per year. The midpoint salary for this role is £42,500. Following 12 months of successful service, colleagues will move to the midpoint of the pay band. Our salaries reflect that the London office is our contractual place of work. We also pay a working‑from‑home allowance at the HMRC tax‑free rate of £312 per year. We are committed to paying at least the London Living Wage for all roles and apply the updated rate each April.

Location and Working Arrangements

Colleagues attend the office at least four days per month (pro rata for part‑time colleagues) to collaborate, build relationships, and support projects and decision‑making. You can choose where to work the rest of the time. Travel to the office is a commute, so we pay our own travel costs. Additional in‑person attendance will be required during your first few months for induction and training. We trust colleagues to work flexibly while balancing personal commitments with the needs of the charity, and we are committed to making reasonable adjustments for colleagues with a disability, neurodiversity, or a long‑term physical or mental health condition.
