Sign Maker/Letter Maker Location: Oldham, Greater Manchester Salary: DOE Company: A well-established leading signage company. Role: Our client are looking for a talented Sign Maker to join their Fabrication team. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to build a successful career with a growing and progressive company. As a skilled Sign Maker, you will be responsible for vinyl and large format print application, backing up fret-cut aluminium fascia’s, extrusion fabrication, acrylic fabrication, populating and wiring LEDs and general assembly duties. You will work in a fast-paced environment, and will need to have good physical strength and stamina, a strong work ethic, and be willing to assist other team members whenever necessary. * Experience within various types of signage i.e. acrylic, vinyl, fascia’s, LED’s etc. * Fabricating built up letters, operating letter bending machine, aluminum letter building * Operating Large Format Printers such as Roland, Mimaki * Print Finishing * Sign Fitting * Sign fabrication * Wiring of electrical components * Machine operating * Quality checking * Maintaining a clean and safe working environment * Interpreting briefs and drawings accurately Our client is also looking for candidates who have experience with gilding, hand painting, woodwork, operating CNC machines and letter building. Requirements: * Experience within signage and large format print production * Previous experience manufacturing * Competent with vinyl production, print finishing etc. * Ability to work with hand tools * Technical minded * Self-motivated and driven Apply: Please email your full CV details to us.
