Packaging Repro Artworker / Repro Operator Location: West Yorkshire Salary: DOE Company: One of the UK and Europe’s leading packaging design and reprographics specialists. Role: To produce & process graphics files in preparation for output & print. * Downloading files from emails/FTP sites * Artwork/Repro creation of files, PDF creation * Creating print ready files * To ensure all files are complete and ready for printing according to printer specifications * Checking, amending and pre-flighting artwork * Offer technical advice to ensure all artwork is achievable within print production constraints * Working to tight deadlines to ensure customer satisfaction * Liaising with production/technical/team. Requirements: * Experience creating technical artwork and repro files * Previous experience working within packaging and labels - particularly within FMCG * Adobe Creative Suite skills specifically Illustrator * ESKO experience * Experience with Filemaker - advantageous * Full and comprehensive understanding of Combination print Reprograchics & Print Processes (Gravure/Offset/Flexo/Screen/Eboss/Foilers plus Digital & Hybrid print knowledge). * Experience of the print industry and processes i.e. flexo and digital * Any software/development knowledge of Hybrid Solutions/Esko Our client is looking for a forward thinking individual who would like progression opportunities.
