Role: Our client is currently looking for a Print Production Manager to join their well-established team in Kimbolton, Cambridgeshire.

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of the manufacturing. Be hands on with production. Operating large format printers, digital cutters and amending artwork for print.
  • Producing large format display, banners, flags, signage etc.
  • Collaborate with studio and key stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Scheduling workflow and understanding capacity within the Production Department.
  • Lead and inspire your team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Manage stock levels.
  • Quality checking on final product prior to dispatch.
  • Maintaining machinery. Working within the H&S framework of the business & understanding risks and where they may occur.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in print setup, RIP software such as Caldera, and artwork file preparation.
  • Strong understanding of print materials, their uses, and their limitations.
  • Stock control and supplier liaison for consistent procurement.
  • Knowledge of operating Large format printers such as Agfa UV and digital cutters such as Summa/Zund etc.
  • High attention to detail in print quality control and output consistency.
  • Effective communication with the Project Management and Install teams.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
  • Ability to balance workload and prioritise urgent or complex print jobs.
