Overview
Flexo Printer – Hull. A global manufacturer specialising in medical packaging and labels.
Responsibilities
- Running multi-colour flexo narrow web presses
- Producing high quality labels and packaging with a variety of finishes
- Ensuring that the area, equipment, and machinery are kept clean and tidy
- Troubleshooting issues with the printing press or print quality
- Ensuring that all Health, Safety and Environmental Policies relating to your work area are always adhered to
- Carry out basic maintenance in accordance with standard procedures
Requirements
- Hold sufficient, recent flexographic printing experience
- Have experience operating a narrow web flexo printer – ideally Mark Andy, MPS, Nilpeter, Edale etc.
- Will also consider wide web flexographic printing
- Be aware of flexo and/or digital print process
- Previously or currently printed labels / packaging
- Hot foil / melt experience desired
