Role: This is a pivotal client-facing role in a fast-paced collaborative studio environment, supporting the Packaging Design Client Director. You will be responsible for leading the successful delivery of creative packaging design projects while building strong, productive relationships across a range of key retail clients. Working closely with the Packaging Design Client Director, Design Director and Studio team, you will ensure projects run smoothly from start to finish, with all creative output meeting the highest standards of quality and client expectations. Balancing day-to-day delivery with client relationship management, you will consistently champion both client satisfaction and creative excellence.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with key client stakeholders
- Confident presentation of creative work to client, in collaboration with Design Director/Lead Creative
- Manage client expectations by providing regular project delivery updates
- Be responsible for ensuring that all Creative packaging projects are managed professionally
- Support and cover for the Packaging Design Client Director
- Be able to lead high-profile projects and brand redesigns
- Lead briefing sessions with creative team
- Ensure creative output aligns with brand and brief
- Presentation of work to client with rationale, and an understanding of direct competitors in the market
- Management of client PO’s and part/monthly invoicing
- Liaise regularly with the Design Director, Adaptive Lead, and Packaging Design Delivery Manager to uphold quality standards and manage creative resources effectively
- Liaise with Print Technical and Artwork Production teams where relevant to ensure design is achievable for print
Requirements:
- 3-5 years experience in a project management role within a creative packaging environment.
- Experience within packaging retail - ideally food / beverage etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable liaising with creatives, clients, and stakeholders at all levels
- Calm under pressure with strong decision-making skills and a solutions-focused approach
- Meticulous in tracking deliverables, checking outputs, and ensuring accuracy across all stages of work
- Able to translate creative briefs into clear deliverables and timelines.
- Good grasp of creative processes and terminology
- Skilled at managing feedback, facilitating approvals, and keeping all parties aligned
