Year 6 Teacher- Maternity Cover

Prospero Teaching is looking for a passionate, proactive and enthusiastic Year 6 Teacher to cover maternity leave in an inspirational Primary Schools in Durham from late January on a full-time basis for the rest of the academic year. This is a fantastic opportunity to build positive relationships with pupils and have a long-term, positive impact on their lives, progress and development. About the Role: The role will involve planning and teaching engaging and informative lessons for pupils in that inspire pupils and allows all pupils to make progress regardless of their ability levels. Stretching and challenging the learning and progress all pupils Building positive relationships with pupils and Teaching Assistants to create excellent learning environments. Managing challenging behaviour in a positive, proactive and consistent manner. Differentiating lessons appropriately to suit the needs and earning styles of all pupils. Using varied methods of assessment to assess pupil progress Displaying high levels of enthusiasm, energy and positivity when working with children.
