Job Opportunity: 1:1 Teaching Assistant – Year 5 – Portsmouth

We are currently recruiting a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in Year 5 at a welcoming primary school in Portsmouth . This is a full-time role , starting as soon as possible , ideal for someone with a passion for supporting individual learning needs and making a real difference in a child’s educational journey.

Role Overview

You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide tailored support to a pupil with additional needs, helping them access the curriculum and thrive in the classroom. The role requires patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to learning support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 support to a Year 5 pupil with specific learning needs
