A mainstream school in Rochdale (OL11) is seeking a resilient, confident and experienced Teaching Assistant to provide high-quality behaviour support to pupils who require consistency, structure and strong adult guidance.
The school supports pupils with social, emotional and behavioural needs, and is looking for a Teaching Assistant who can build positive relationships while maintaining clear boundaries and high expectations.
The Role
- Supporting pupils with challenging behaviour, both in and out of the classroom
- Working closely with teachers, SEN staff and leadership to implement behaviour strategies
- Providing 1:1 and small group support
- Promoting positive behaviour, emotional regulation and engagement in learning
- Acting as a calm, firm and consistent presence throughout the school day
The Ideal Candidate Will
- Have proven experience supporting behaviour in a school or similar setting
