Prospero Teaching is searching for a 1-1 Specialised SEND Tutor within the Wrexham Area!
Opportunity
We are currently looking for qualified and experienced tutors and mentors to provide specialised SEND support to students on a 1-1 provision.
Responsibilities include
- Deliver core subjects to pupils (tuition aspect).
- Provide mentoring support, such as local area trips, helping young people integrate, CV writing, future planning, and life‑skills.
- Use a strong background and understanding of SEN.

Experience, Training and Qualifications
- QTS or equivalent
- Experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils
- UK teaching experience
- Creative, patient, and willing to think outside of the box
- Eligibility
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or willing to apply for a new one
- Two professional child‑related references
