Attention Education Professionals! Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Tutor to support a primary-aged pupil in the Poole area. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide tailored one-to-one tuition, helping a Year 5 student build confidence, strengthen their English and Maths skills, and prepare for the transition into Year 6 in a supportive learning environment.

As a Tutor, you will deliver engaging, personalised lessons and complete weekly feedback reports to monitor the pupil's progress, achievements, and overall development. Experience, Training and Qualifications

  • The following are desirable, but not essential:
  • QTS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching or tutoring within a UK primary school
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training (issued within the last year)

Eligibility for this Role

  • Have the Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one
  • Provide two professional child-related references
  • Have a minimum of one year's experience working within an educational setting
