We are currently looking for a tutor to support a Year 5 student in re-engaging with learning. The student has been working closely with a mentor, focusing on personal development, confidence, and self-esteem. We have now reached a positive stage where he is beginning to show readiness to learn. Given his journey so far, the tutoring approach will need to be consistent, nurturing, and child-led. Initially, the focus should be on building a strong, trusting relationship with him, similar to the one he has developed with his mentor. Once he feels comfortable, the tutor will gradually introduce structured KS2 learning.

We are currently offering approximately 4 hours per week, with the potential for this to increase over time. The hourly rate is £25-£30, depending on experience.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 6 months' experience working within education
  • Confidence in planning and delivering KS2 lessons, particularly in Maths and English
  • A patient, adaptable, and nurturing approach
Flexibility & Opportunities:

If you are looking to build a fuller timetable, we can support this by matching you with additional students. We will always work around your availability, liaising with you and families to ensure placements fit your schedule and preferences.
