Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and welcoming nursery in Weston-super-Mare for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their team on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and dedicated early years professional looking to secure a long-term role within a supportive setting.

The Role

  • Position: Level 3 Nursery Practitioner
  • Location: Weston-super-Mare
  • Hours: 08:30 - 17:30, full-time
  • Pay: £13.00 per hour
  • Contract: Temporary to Permanent
  • Interview Dates: Week commencing 29th June 2026

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the learning, development, and care of children in the nursery setting
  • Delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and parents/carers
  • Observing, assessing, and recording children's progress

Requirements

  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (essential)
  • A genuine passion for working with young children
  • Strong understanding of EYFS (preferred)
  • Paediatric First Aid (desirable - training can be provided)
  • Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply (support provided)
