SEND Tutor - Liverpool

Prospero Teaching are seeking a patient and enthusiastic SEND Tutor to provide personalised 1:1 tuition to a learner in Liverpool.
This opportunity would suit an experienced educator who can adapt their approach to suit individual needs and help a learner develop both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored 1:1 tuition based on individual learning needs
- Adapt lesson content, resources and teaching strategies
- Establish a positive and supportive relationship with the learner
- Encourage engagement, confidence and independence
- Support progress towards individual educational targets
- Provide feedback on learner development
Requirements
- Experience working with children or young people
- Previous experience supporting learners with SEND
- Patient, empathetic and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create engaging and accessible lessons
- Relevant teaching qualification or tutoring experience desirable
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
- Right to Work in the UK
- Two professional child-related references
