Prospero Teaching are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Secondary Tutor to provide individualised educational support to a learner in Liverpool.
This role would suit a flexible teacher or tutor who can build positive relationships and deliver engaging sessions across the secondary curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalised 1:1 tuition
- Support learning across relevant secondary subjects
- Plan engaging and differentiated sessions
- Adapt tuition according to learner progress
- Encourage positive learning habits
- Build confidence and motivation
- Provide feedback on learner development
Requirements
- Previous experience working with secondary-aged learners
- Teaching or tutoring experience
- Good knowledge of the secondary curriculum
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to adapt sessions to individual needs
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
- Right to Work in the UK
- Two professional child-related references
