The Opportunity
Are you a qualified Maths teacher or experienced Maths tutor looking for flexible work? We are looking for confident and enthusiastic GCSE Maths Tutors to provide personalised 1:1 tuition to secondary-aged learners across Liverpool. The students we support may have gaps in their education or require additional support to reach their academic potential. You'll work closely with individual learners, adapting your sessions to their needs and helping them develop both their mathematical skills and confidence.

- Location: Liverpool
- Position: GCSE Maths Tutor
- Hours: 5-15 hours per week
- Start Date: September 2026
- Duration: Ongoing
Experience, Training and Qualifications:
- Experience teaching GCSE Maths
- Strong knowledge of the GCSE Maths curriculum
- QTS, PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification desirable
- Previous 1:1 tutoring experience is advantageous
- Ability to identify and address individual learning gaps
- A supportive and engaging approach to teaching
To be eligible for this role, you must:
- Hold the Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child-related references
