ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Prospero Teaching is looking for Welsh Medium Primary school Teaching Assistants in Swansea. The role available is fully flexible depending on the candidate's needs. This position starts immediately and is a Supply role that may lead to a long-term contract. The position is open to both NQTs and experienced teachers. Depending on performance, the school may look at extending the contract.

CONTRACT DETAILS

  • Location - Swansea
  • Position - Supply Teaching Assistant
  • Type of work - General Cover
  • Contract or position start date - ASAP
  • Duration - Long/Part term
  • Full time/part time
  • Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate GBP 89.76 per day
  • Hours - Normal school hours (8:30 am - 3pm, for example)

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • QTS or equivalent
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (we can provide you with this training free of charge).

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child-related references that cover the last 2 years
