A dedicated and passionate Cover Supervisor is required to work at a popular and extremely supportive secondary school near Warrington, covering lessons across key stages 3, 4 and 5 as soon as possible, on an ongoing basis, likely to be for the rest of the academic year on an ad-hoc basis.
You will be joining a team of highly skilled and committed professionals who are relentless in their pursuit of excellence to provide the best possible education for all students. You will have the determination to support the school in ensuring its young people go on to lead both happy and successful lives.
You will have the opportunity to become fully involved within school life, like a permanent member of staff, and attend departmental meetings when required, and be available for parents’ evenings as well as planning and delivering captivating, high standard lessons that will stretch the pupils in their learning. A key focus in the classroom is AfL which helps guide teaching throughout the whole school.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree with a good classification, preferably in a science connected subject.
- Secondary QTS (PGCE, SCITT, B. Ed, QTS, etc) as a Science Teacher.
- Previous experience working with young people (which we can reference).
- Experience of working in a Secondary School (which we can reference).
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, we can provide the training).
- Up to date Prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, again, we can provide the training).
- Up to date behaviour management & FGM training (essential, however, training can be provided).
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK.
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application at a cost of.
- Provide a minimum of two professional references.
